MillerKnoll, Inc. Earns Gold Medal Rating from EcoVadis

MillerKnoll Inc., a collective of dynamic design brands, announced it earned a Gold Medal rating from EcoVadis, the world’s leading global provider of business sustainability ratings. The recognition places MillerKnoll among the top five percent of companies assessed globally, reinforcing the company’s continued leadership in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable design.
“Earning EcoVadis Gold reflects the strength and consistency of our sustainability strategy across the MillerKnoll collective and our leadership within the industry,” said Gabe Wing, Vice President of Sustainability at MillerKnoll. “By embedding sustainability into how we design, source, and operate, we’re turning intention into impact—delivering real results, with our EcoVadis scores rising across all four core dimensions.”
MillerKnoll’s EcoVadis Gold rating builds on a series of recent milestones:
Science-based climate action: In 2025, MillerKnoll’s near-term greenhouse gas reduction targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligning the company’s climate strategy with the latest climate science.
Renewable energy leadership: MillerKnoll achieved 100 percent renewable electricity across all global manufacturing operations last year.
Advanced circularity: Through take-back, refurbishment, and donation programs, MillerKnoll diverted millions of pounds of furniture from landfills, extending product life and reducing waste.
Global commitments: MillerKnoll recently signed on as a participant in the United Nations Global Compact and adheres to its principles-based approach to responsible business.
Supplier engagement: MillerKnoll is committed to strengthening supplier relationships through the SEAT (Supplier Engagement, Advancement, and Transformation) initiative. Under-recognized suppliers, businesses that are often overlooked due to their size or ownership, play a vital role in filling supply chain gaps and driving regional economic growth.
This comes on the heels of other key accolades for MillerKnoll including appearing on the Fortune World's Most Admired Companies list™, Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators list, Newsweek's America's Greenest Companies list, and Great Place to Work ® certification.
