DOVR Media Offers Dedicated AI Commerce Enablement at HPMKT

DOVR Media, the largest Shopify partner in the home furnishings vertical serving over 1,000 retail storefronts across North America, is coming to the Spring High Point Market with a fundamentally repositioned brand. This includes a new website and something no other agency in the furniture industry currently offers: a dedicated AI Commerce Enablement practice.

“We aren’t coming to High Point to talk about websites,” said DOVR Media CEO and Founder Jake Freedman. “Our focus is about what happens when your best customer asks ChatGPT where to buy a sectional and your store isn't in the answer. That's the conversation this industry needs to be having right now.”

To meet current market environment, DOVR Media is putting forth a deliberate strategic shift to evolve from a traditional Shopify web services and digital marketing provider into an AI Commerce Enablement partner, a category it believes will define the home furnishings vertical. DOVR’s position is that AI-powered search is the most consequential change to hit furniture retail since the internet itself, and independent retailers who prepare for it now will have a structural advantage that compounds over time.

“The retailers we serve are independent operators. They are not going to outspend the bigger national players on advertising. But they can be the store AI recommends in their local market, and that is worth more than any ad budget,” Freedman said. “That's what we help them do.”

At the core of DOVR's AI-Powered offering are two proprietary systems. The first is the company's Prepared Products technology, a system that takes raw data from furniture manufacturers and structures it so that AI engines can understand and surface individual products. For retailers with multiple manufacturers and thousands of SKUs, this solves a problem that has become the most important competitive variable in furniture digital marketing.

The second is DOVR's Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) service. While SEO optimizes for ranking on traditional search engine results pages, GEO optimizes how AI models select and recommend products and retailers in conversational search experiences.

“The distinction matters enormously,” Freedman said. “In traditional search, being number five on the page still gets you some traffic. In AI search, there is no number five. You're either the recommended store or you don't exist. GEO is how you become the answer.”

DOVR's new AI Commerce Enablement service model offers three tiers, (ranging from $399-$999 per month) to meet retailers where they are and providing a clear path to full AI commerce readiness. “This is a fundamentally different approach to how a furniture retailer shows up in the world. We're not just running ads and managing a website. We're making sure that when a customer asks an AI where to buy furniture, our retailers are the ones getting recommended.”

To learn more about DOVR Media's AI Commerce Enablement services, furniture retailers can set up a meeting at High Point Market or get information on the new brand identity at the fully redesigned www.dovrmedia.com website.
