York Wallcoverings, the oldest and largest wallcoverings manufacturer in the United States, introduces Ronald Redding Private Reserve, a distinguished new collection within the York Designer Series. Featuring 18 patterns across a range of colorways, Private Reserve embodies Ronald Redding’s signature neo-traditional aesthetic, where timeless heritage meets modern sophistication.
Rooted in the ambiance of an exclusive country or social club, Private Reserve channels the tailored elegance, rich textures, and curated refinement synonymous with classic Americana. From equestrian pursuits to leisurely afternoons on the golf course or at the yacht club, the collection celebrates storied traditions while introducing a polished, contemporary sensibility.
Ronald Redding’s wallpaper designs have long been regarded as a modern masterclass in craftsmanship and style, artfully blending the timeless past with pioneering innovation. Private Reserve expands on that legacy with a richer, more immersive design approach—pairing tailored finishes, layered textures, and elegant color palettes to create spaces that feel both distinguished and inviting.
“Private Reserve captures the essence of quiet luxury and the enduring appeal of heritage design,” said Erin Fallon, Brand Manager of Residential at York Wallcoverings. “Each pattern reflects the refined environments that inspire the collection, from equestrian culture to classic club interiors, while offering designers a fresh, modern palette for today’s elevated residential spaces.”
Crafted on premium non-woven substrates with tailored finishes and textile-inspired detailing, the collection offers designers versatile patterns that evoke fine fabrics, heritage sporting traditions, and the understated elegance of curated interiors.
Meet The Collection
Throughout the collection, a series of thoughtfully designed patterns reflect the heritage and character of leisure and sporting traditions. Standout designs include Country Club Plaid, a fabric-inspired plaid enriched with intricate linework and linen-like texture; Dressage, a minimalist depiction of spirited horses in motion; Hole in One, an illustrated golf course scene rendered in soft watercolor detail; and Polo, an elegant motif inspired by equestrian bits arranged in a rhythmic pattern.
Additional highlights include Radcliffe, a sophisticated diamond motif offering a modern interpretation of classic argyle; Watson, a bold houndstooth reimagined as a striking wallcovering; and Regal Ridge, an intricate nature-inspired design featuring birds perched among berry-laden branches.
Stripes, plaids, and tactile textures further anchor the collection, with patterns such as Archer Stripe, Ticking Stripe, Harrington Plaid, and Saratoga evoking the textiles, fine linens, and heritage fabrics commonly found in refined interiors. Together, these designs offer a curated selection of textures and motifs that inspire interiors with depth, elegance, and understated character.
