Artistic Tile Welcomes Project Sourcing Manager Jose Mezquita

Artistic Tile is pleased to welcome Project Sourcing Manager Jose Mezquita, effective immediately. With more than 30 years of dedicated experience in the stone and tile industry, Mezquita will play a key role in supporting the sales team by sourcing high-quality materials from local vendors and international suppliers.
Previously, Mezquita worked at Walker Zanger for twenty-six years, where his duties included slab purchasing, sourcing, project coordination, and branch operations. His expertise spans hands-on work with natural stones and tiles, sales, project management, and strategic sourcing.
“I’m excited to have Jose Mezquita join our team, especially because of his passion for the tile and stone industry,” says Operations Manager Stephanie Rakotz. “He has such a strong background, which will help our team continue to source the highest quality materials and help streamline response times for the purchasing team,” Rakotz adds.
Mezquita welcomes the opportunity to continue working in the industry. “For me, the stone and tile world is far more than a career, it is something I enjoy doing,” he says. Outside work, he is an avid traveler, having explored many countries with his wife. He also cherishes creating lasting memories with his family, including his 24-yearold daughter Nicole and his beloved Yorkie Bono (named after musician Bono from the band U2).
