DutchCrafters Announces Applications Open for 2026 Heritage Scholarship

Giving back is a core value at DutchCrafters Amish Furniture. In alignment with this commitment, the Heritage Scholarship was established in 2011 to support students by helping fund their education. Each year, the scholarship recognizes undergraduate students who are motivated by their cultural heritage to build on their career aspirations, add creative value to their future employers, and serve their communities.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, DutchCrafters will award three students $500 scholarships to support their education. Students who are currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time undergraduate students at an accredited institution in the United States are encouraged to apply.
DutchCrafters Founder and CEO Jim Miller was inspired by his own heritage when launching the company. He saw value in bringing Amish furniture online, focusing on integrity, sustainability, and authenticity—principles that continue to guide the company today and shape the vision behind the Heritage Scholarship.
The scholarship application requires a statement of financial need and an essay on cultural heritage, including how it has influenced the applicant’s career goals, how they will be an asset to their future employer, and how they have contributed to their community.
More information about the Heritage Scholarship, including eligibility requirements and application materials, is available at www.dutchcrafters.com/heritage-scholarship. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on May 1, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email no later than July 12, 2026.
