HOM Furniture Announces 2025 Vendor & Sales Rep of the Year

HOM Furniture was pleased to recognize its 2025 Vendor of the Year and 2025 Sales Representative of the Year at the company's annual awards banquet, Saturday, January 31st, at The Depot in Minneapolis, Minn. The 2025 awards were presented by Kyle Johansen, Executive Vice President for HOM Furniture. The recipients were HM Richards and Curt Ring of Dalyn, respectively.
Every year, HOM Furniture presents these awards to an outstanding company and individual as a recognition and thanks for their valuable contributions. These awards acknowledge key partners with proven commitment to product and service excellence, as well as product category growth.
The Vendor of the Year Award is given to the vendor who demonstrates the highest level of commitment to HOM Furniture and its success in the marketplace. The 2025 award recipient, HM Richards, has been a partner with HOM for only a few years on the retail floor, yet they have been a fantastic partner through their parent company long before, showing their long-term commitment to the organization.
HM Richards boasts a beautiful selection of fabrics that are hand-selected for every frame, allowing for quick delivery of high-quality upholstery over fashion-forward frames. What they produce is truly the core products HOM customers seek out and expect. Founded in 1997 in Mississippi by the Seaman family, HM Richards has been a leader in the industry, innovating themselves along the way. Being owned by the Seaman family gives HM Richards a major edge in the marketplace, as RTG is one of the largest and most respected furniture retailers in the country.
HM Richards has an amazing team working hard every day for HOM, including Tucker, the sales rep; Michael, the VP of Sales; Kristin, who heads up training; and Shawn, who does product development.

The Manufacturer's Representative of the Year Award is presented to the sales representative that delivers outstanding service in all areas, including timely service, detailed training, meticulous follow up, and an overall sense of professionalism. The award recipient, Curt Ring of Dalyn, exemplifies these qualities as well as HOM Furniture's core values. Curt is always quick to respond thoroughly to the needs of HOM's buying, operations, and sales departments, finding answers and positive solutions for HOM and its customers. A former HOM team member who sold at the Bloomington location and served as a sales manager at the Coon Rapids showroom, Curt embodies HOM's core values and has been instrumental in helping HOM achieve record sales with Dalyn in 2025, continuing a partnership that goes back over 20 years.
"Curt isn't just the sales rep that shows up at our office and tries to sell us another rug. He takes the time to understand our business, our rug assortments from all vendors, and potential needs, and brings suggestions to our buying team in order to maximize the success of the longstanding Dalyn and HOM partnership," said Johansen. More than 500 people attended the event at the long-standing venue, The Depot, in Minneapolis, Minn. The banquet was decorated according to the theme for the year: Hollywood Gala. The evening included dinner, awards presentation, music, dancing, and celebrating amongst the HOM Furniture family.
