The new collaboration combines Budd’s style with the technical skill of Artistic Tile’s in-house production studio. The resulting bespoke patterns are available exclusively through the Tailored To Custom Program.

Made at the Artistic Tile New Jersey headquarters using waterjet-cutting technology, the trio of designs delivers ultimate flexibility. Clients choose their own combination of natural stone or glass, personalizing their materials, colors, and finishes to create one-of-a-kind custom tile.

The styles in the collection include:

VARO
Varo embraces irregularity and chance, moving away from traditional repetition toward a more organic composition. Designed by Ali Budd as six distinct stone panels, the pattern allows for endless variation through rotation and rearrangement. Whether composed as intended or freely mixed, Varo creates a surface that feels layered, spontaneous, and entirely unique.

Manufactured at Artistic Tile Headquarters, Varo Waterjet Mosaic displays extraordinary variety, dimensionality, and depth. Specify your tile materials in natural stone or glass, in a palette of your own making. Sold as a 6-part module of interlocking A, B, C, D, E, and F sheets, with a coverage area of 10.42 sf/unit.

SCULPTA

Sculpta by Ali Budd is composed of vertical lines and fluid forms that create a sense of movement. Dimensional carving introduces texture, resulting in a surface that is architectural yet tactile. As a Tailored To product, Sculpta can be fully customized in your choice of materials and colors. Sold as a 4-part module of interlocking A, B, C, and D sheets, with a coverage area of 4.63 sf/unit.

LIORA
Liora is defined by irregular grout lines that echo the natural fracture and rejoining of stone. Four distinct compositions create variation throughout. Installed traditionally or in a checkered layout, Liora provides a practical solution for achieving a pattern that reads organic and quietly natural. Liora is customized through the Tailored To Program, choosing natural stone or glass components. Sold as a 4-part module of interlocking A, B, C, and D sheets, with a coverage area of 3.61 sf/unit.

Also available from Ali Budd x Artistic Tile is Opia. Immediately setting the tone for an exciting collaboration, a modern half-moon pattern with metallic ornamentation, Opia resembles an eye, giving a playful wink to the historical amulet motif while updating it in sumptuous materials and graphic geometry.
