ART Conference Announces Beneficiary of Service Project

The ART Conference Committee announced today that Esperanza of Tucson, Arizona, has been selected as the beneficiary of the 2026 ART Conference Community Service Project. This marks ART’s eleventh community service initiative in a conference host city. The 2026 ART Conference will be held May 13–15, at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona.

For more than 35 years, Esperanza has served homeless veterans and their families, providing a pathway from crisis to stability through comprehensive housing and supportive services on its 14-acre campus. Esperanza’s mission is to honor those who served by helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose, supported through partnerships with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the City of Tucson, and other community organizations.

As part of the service project, conference volunteers will work on-site at the Esperanza campus to refresh existing living quarters and outdoor common areas. Home furnishings industry companies will also be invited to donate furnishings to enhance apartments and replace damaged items.

ART is strongly committed to giving back to the communities that host the yearly conference. Projects have been successfully completed for veterans facilities, homeless shelters, transitional housing, children’s charities and hospitals and substance abuse recovery facilities. Every year, vendor donors supply products and supplies for the projects.

In 2025, the recipient of the service project was Camillus House, who for 60 years has envisioned its service to the poor and homeless as a continuum of care which empowers clients towards personal rehabilitation and proactive integration as productive members of the general population.

Camillus House’s vision for tomorrow is always built on the ideals of their founding mission which aims to provide every client with opportunities to combine personal and community resources in order to affect physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Camillus House programs include development initiatives that include:

- Emergency assistance with food, clothing and shelter.

- Job training and placement.

- Residential substance abuse treatment and aftercare.

- Behavioral health and maintenance.

- Health care access and disease prevention.

- Transitional and permanent housing.

The ART Conference brings together the best and brightest from all segments of the industry to create best practices and share creative ideas. Vendors, retailers, sales reps, designers, show producers and the press ALL collaborate – we teach, we learn, we talk, we listen. Can we all get along? Yes, absolutely! ART Conference provides that unique opportunity. We know that together we are stronger.
