Abner Henry Introduces Collaboration with Met in Latest Façade Collection

Abner Henry, pioneer of luxury and custom furniture introduces the latest installment of their collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The magnificent exterior of the museum inspires the second collaboration with The Met. Not only does it hold some of the world’s finest art, but the exterior is a masterpiece in itself, exuding beauty and power—a feeling captured within the 25-piece collection.

Drawing from the architectural language of museum’s monumental façade, The Met Façade Collection translates the building’s defining elements—including arches, columns, windows, and gridwork—into sculptural furniture forms. Spanning dining tables, chairs, consoles, and case goods, each piece reflects the Museum’s cultural presence through refined materials and carefully considered finishes.

The whole of the Met collection includes a range of elements including dining tables and chairs, window chairs, consoles, side tables, cocktail tables, cabinets, a coat tree, and end table.

Handcrafted in Ohio, the collection reflects Abner Henry’s commitment to American craftsmanship and thoughtful design. The Met Façade Collection Volume II embodies the same signature quality, price point, and extensive customization capabilities that define Abner Henry.

Each piece can be customized in size and across an expansive range of options, including 600+ wood finishes10 wood species, and 50+ metal finishes, allowing designers to tailor the collection seamlessly to a wide range of residential and commercial projects.

LaVern Hershberger, president and creative director of Abner Henry says, "We’re grateful for the continued collaboration with The Met team. Expanding The Met Façade Collection allowed us to further explore bold, contemporary design through the lens of our craftsmanship and The Met’s iconic architecture.”
