Following its launch in July 2025, Herman Miller expands the Pawson Drift Collection with a corner sectional, an ottoman, and a family of occasional tables. The collection is designed by renowned British architect John Pawson.
The corner sectional adds a new configuration to the collection’s original 80" and 93" sofas and 130" left- or right-chaise sectional, offering even more ways to create a spacious, welcoming sanctuary. All seating within the collection provides continuous support; For an added layer of comfort, a responsibly sourced down feather jacket is incorporated into the cushion design, while a sturdy frame and fabric suspension system beneath the cushions ensure lasting support for sitting, lounging, or resting.
A recessed solid hardwood frame and wrap-around design gives each piece a refined presence, designed to be admired from every angle. The frame is available in white oak or walnut, with cushions offered in premium textiles and leathers, including three that are Greenguard™ Gold Certified to promote cleaner indoor air: Rowan, Beck, and Isa.
The Pawson Drift Tables are also designed to give the impression that they are floating in space. This is achieved through a subtle "shadow gap" – a precise space between two horizontal planes, which creates both shadow and depth. The tops are offered in stone or solid wood with oak or walnut bases, reflecting Pawson's vision of elegance through simplicity. Available sizes include a square (45"x45") or rectangular (28"x60") coffee table and an 18"x18"x18" side table.
“While each piece stands beautifully on its own, the details of one reveal something about the other,” says John Pawson.
