Designhounds Introduces Education Workshop Bootcamp at EcoHiveNY

Designhounds, the leading influencer and education platform for design professionals, announced the launch of its first-ever Designhounds Bootcamp, a new hands-on product education workshop series debuting this May in Brooklyn in partnership with EcoHiveNY, a design-forward, sustainability-driven creative venue.

New for 2026, Designhounds Bootcamps are immersive, small-format workshops created to deepen product understanding for actively specifying interior designers, kitchen and bath professionals, and residential design specifiers. Unlike traditional CEU presentations or showroom events, Bootcamps focus on how products actually work — how they’re built, installed, specified, and supported in real-world projects.

“Our industry doesn’t need more surface-level marketing — it needs deeper product fluency,” said Veronika Miller, Founder and CEO of Designhounds. Designhounds Bootcamps, hosted in partnership with local and regional design studios, are designed to strengthen the design community—shifting the focus from selling to designers toward equipping them with deep product knowledge that builds confidence, credibility, and long-term brand trust.

The inaugural Brooklyn Bootcamp will feature four to five in-depth product education sessions delivered in a streamlined one-day format. Attendance will be limited to 20–30 pre-qualified design professionals, drawn from the Designhounds Influencer Network and the broader New York design community.

Through its partnership with EcoHiveNY, the program will be hosted in a setting that aligns with the Bootcamp mission—innovation, sustainability, and meaningful collaboration. Participating brands will engage designers through extended-format presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and moderated discussion, supported by Designhounds’ full program management, attendee curation, and post-event amplification.

“EcoHiveNY was created to support collaboration, education, and sustainable design thinking, so hosting the first Designhounds Bootcamp feels like a natural fit,” said Felicitas Oefelein, partner and founder of EcoHiveNY. “We’re excited to welcome the design community into a space that encourages deeper learning, conversation, and connection.”

Designhounds Bootcamps will roll out nationally throughout 2026, with Brooklyn serving as the flagship launch city.
