Palliser Announces Appointment of Cary Benson As President & CEO

Palliser has announced the appointment of Cary Benson as president and chief executive officer, effective Jan 19.
Benson returns to the role after previously serving as President and CEO of Palliser from 2010 to 2017. During his earlier tenure, the company achieved meaningful improvements in sales performance and profitability, strengthened its operating foundation, and built trusted, long-standing relationships across its retail network.
Since 2018, Benson has served as President and CEO of Encore, Palliser’s cinema seating division. Under his leadership, Encore experienced significant growth and delivered record results in 2025, demonstrating Cary’s ability to lead, remain focused on customers, and drive disciplined, sustainable growth.
“Cary has been a member of our Advisory Board, and brings deep institutional knowledge, a steady leadership approach, and a strong understanding of what it takes to guide Palliser forward,” said Peter Tielmann, President & CEO of Palliser Holdings Ltd.
