Meridian Furniture, a fast-growing brand known for its vast selection of high-style, affordably priced designs, is returning to the Las Vegas Market for the first time since 2019 this weekend with an expanded product portfolio emphasizing a new sophisticated aesthetic.
“We have come a long way from the more glam trends for which our showroom was known the last time we were in Las Vegas,” said Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian. “Over the past five years, we have steadily evolved into a whole home supplier, encompassing nearly every category in the home and have embraced a more refined modern aesthetic associated with sculptural design and soft neutral tones.”
Along with its expansive, ever-changing portfolio of luxury looks for less stocked in multiple finishes, materials and colors, Rosilio said Meridian is seeking to turn the heads of designers and stagers West of the Mississippi with the added benefit of 24-hour shipping on in-stock orders, and multiple shipping options that cater to their needs, from standard LTL to full white glove delivery with assembly. All in-stock products and services are accessible via an easy-to-use digital portal, putting all information at the designer’s fingertips.
Among the new European-style upholstered offerings inside the new Las Vegas Market showroom on the first floor of Building B (B101) is a massive, arched two-piece sectional ideal for high-end residential and hospitality projects. (Nearly 80 percent of the Meridian line is now hospitality grade). Covered in luxe cream chenille, the Avanti measures a show-stopping 182.5 inches wide.
Those seeking something a little less expansive in upholstered looks can turn to the Turin, a five-piece modular sectional on a wood base finished in brown walnut. Covered in soft taupe chenille, it measures just 130 inches wide.
To complement the new sofas and sectionals on offer, notable introductions in the occasional category include the Campania Marble and Oak Wood Coffee Table in soft cream Breccia marble. With intricate brown veining, Breccia is a unique decorative stone formed by tectonic activity that is re-bonded by calcite and other mineral-rich cements, which ultimately recrystallizes the stone. Solid oak legs in a deep brown finish provide the ideal contrast for the statement piece. Also, in occasional, the sculptural Sonora Concrete Coffee Table in a sand finish with a ribbed texture and smooth top shows off the company’s growing capabilities in the indoor/outdoor category.
Other standout introductions set for the show include accent seating like the Elara Velvet Upholstered Swivel Chair. Its ultra-luxe cream velvet is set off by a solid wood frame in a rich brown walnut finish with brushed brass accents. Said Moe Rosilio, chief operating officer of Meridian, “A step above anything we have ever offered, the Elara is a really high-end chair with beautiful woodwork and details.”
Key dining category intros include the Moriah 112-inch Solid Wood and Oak Veneer Dining Table with fluted edges and a bold architectural presence in a rich brown finish. Also not to be missed: The Moriah 90-inch Dining Table, a striking art deco design created from off-set stack oval slabs balanced one atop the other. Like all of the company’s dining tables it can mix with numerous chair options to personalize a dining space, including the Santos or Andie Vegan Leather Upholstered Dining Chairs, or the Timbre Linen Textured Fabric Upholstered Dining Chair. All three chair designs are new this Market.
“We remain as trend forward as ever, but we expect to really surprise buyers who previously shopped our West Coast showroom with our new more elevated vibe, and we look forward to introducing all the brand offers to those we have never met,” said Mitch Hodges, vice president of sales.
