EQ3 Announces Appointment of Jim Hunt as President

Canadian retail design brand EQ3 is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Hunt as President, which came into effect Jan 19.
Hunt brings a deep and longstanding connection to EQ3, having joined the company’s head office in 2008 during a pivotal period of transformation as the brand transitioned from a franchise model to corporately owned retail. At that time, five franchise locations owned by Hunt were the first to make the transition. Hunt subsequently joined EQ3 in Winnipeg as Vice President of Retail Operations, leading the front end of the business and playing a key role in shaping the brand’s retail experience.
Hunt later assumed responsibility for Sales and Marketing at EQ3 before moving to Palliser in 2016, where he spent nearly nine years leading sales teams across the U.S. and, later, Canada. In 2024, Jim rejoined EQ3 and most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer across both EQ3 and Palliser.
In his new role as President, Jim will now focus exclusively on EQ3, with a clear mandate to strengthen profitability, drive long-term growth, and continue building on the brand’s strong design-led foundation.
