Kingsdown Plans Introduction of Natural Fusion at Las Vegas Market

Luxury bedding manufacturer, Kingsdown, Inc., is planning to energize the Winter Las Vegas Market next week with Natural Fusion, a major new line using a blend of the best natural and synthetic components available.

Eight models are planned for the launch (Building C-1401) with suggested retails starting at $1,299. Four entry level models will feature classic coil construction, while four upper end models will feature the company’s exclusive Wave coil construction.

The entire Natural Fusion line has a unique natural aesthetic, designed to stand out on store floors. The beds will feature exclusive woven borders set off with embroidery and white chenille tape, with each bed constructed using a mix of materials that emphasize natural fibers, including cashmere, Joma wool, Tencel, latex and cotton.

“The design of Natural Fusion offers the best of both worlds, blending the modern technology for which we are known with the best natural materials. We have also incorporated synthetic components like polyurethane foam rails for performance, and to also keep the line affordable for consumers,” said Mike James, chairman of Kingsdown.

“As we survey the marketplace, it’s clear that consumers are interested in natural products and we see an opportunity to tell a more transparent story at an approachable price point,” James said. “We have shaped this collection with nature and refined it with science.”

Ranging in comfort feels from firm to plush tight tops, and medium to plush Euro Tops, all of the Natural Fusion models feature Kingsdown’s Full Body Surround® Edge Support with Motion Separation Foam and range from 13.5” to 15.5” in height.

“This new line ensures our Kingsdown retail partners can offer a more natural and affordable handmade mattress with a tremendous look and feel and superior performance, while also driving substantial margins,” said Frank Hood, president and chief executive officer, Kingsdown. “And just as important, the RSA’s can feel good about selling the product and the story they are telling.”

Also on deck for its Las Vegas showroom, Kingsdown will display its recent collaboration with Hooker Furniture, the exclusive home furnishings licensee of the iconic global lifestyle brand, Margaritaville. The company is preparing an amped-up presentation in a dedicated space with five of the six Margaritaville models aimed at retailers who may have missed the unveiling at last fall’s High Point Market.
