HealthGuard is giving retailers a new way to spark shopper interest and build the bedding ticket with the launch of its NuGlow™ collagen pillows, an elevated beauty-sleep solution aligned with rising consumer demand for products that can blend cosmetic and wellness benefits with sleep comfort. NuGlow debuts January 24–29 at Las Vegas Market at HealthGuard in C-1565.
NuGlow presents a compelling new selling story for retail sales associates, supported by meaningful, easy-to-understand features to engage their customers. With the surge of online searches of beauty-sleep and collagen-related categories, NuGlow provides retailers with a differentiated product that answers a trend consumers already understand and are willing to invest in.
The pillow’s collagen-treated Cool Ice™ shell provides a cool sleep surface while offering natural skin moisturization and proven reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. The shell is fully removable and machine washable. Two models offer a choice between copper-infused or lavender-infused specialty foam cores, each engineered for temperature regulation, pressure relief, hypoallergenic performance and antimicrobial protection. Copper has been scientifically shown to reduce inflammation and promote tissue regeneration with its natural ability to disperse heat. Lavender has anti-inflammatory properties and can calm the nervous system to promote deep sleep.
Aided by engaging packaging design, retail sales associates can easily explain how NuGlow pillows help maintain hydration and elasticity through contact with collagen-treated textiles while offering the cooling, cradling support expected from premium memory foam. The ability to personalize the pillow through copper or lavender foam adds another simple decision point that enhances engagement and helps guide customers toward a solution that aligns with their wellness priorities.
A complimentary satin pillowcase, also collagen-treated, completes the experience and delivers immediate perceived value at the point of sale. The result is a product that retailers can position as a functional wellness upgrade rather than a cosmetic novelty—something that works passively overnight to support both comfort and skin health.
“Consumers today are far more educated about the connection between restorative sleep and skin health, and they are actively seeking products that deliver results without adding steps to their routines,” said Liz Almeida, director of sales, retail.
This shift opened the door for HealthGuard’s research and development team to explore how deep sleep cycles support skin regeneration and how a pillow could complement that process. After nearly two years of development, HealthGuard has brought the concept to market at a moment when wellness, skincare and sleep are converging. Modern consumers—especially young to middle-aged women—now view sleep as a central part of their self-care routines, and the company created NuGlow specifically for this audience.
HealthGuard invites retail buyers to experience NuGlow and the breadth of the company’s portfolio at Las Vegas Market, January 24–29, in the Specialty Sleep Association space on the 15th floor of Building C.
