Meridian Furniture, a fast-growing brand known for its vast selection of high-style, affordably priced designs, is partnering with Ann Gish to present the luxury home textiles company’s new “Ready to Bed” program in its new Las Vegas Market showroom (B101).
Well known for high-quality textiles, innovative designs, and an emphasis on practical elegance, Ann Gish's top-of-bed products will highlight Meridian’s latest round of modern, upholstered bed introductions.
Suggested retail prices for the Ann Gish top-of-bed presentation start at $225 and range to $445 in king sizes. Coordinating 36x30-inch Dutch Euro pillows are sold separately, and color swatches will be available in the showroom. The collection is a completely machine-washable product line aimed at furniture store buyers.
Like Meridian, Ann Gish is a value-driven company that targets a design-centric customer base. Additionally, both companies appeal to designers and stagers seeking hospitality-grade products in addition to residential.
“There’s a tremendous amount of overlap between our customer bases who share a similar design aesthetic, notably amongst retailers and designers. We even share sales reps between our companies,” said Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian Furniture. “Coming together in our new Las Vegas showroom to present the product together makes sense for our customers.”
“There is great synergy between Meridian and Ann Gish,” agreed Jane Gish, chief executive officer of Ann Gish. “Meridian is coming to market with interesting and very modern beds. It’s not a traditional look by any means, and it speaks to a customer interested in good design. We expect to see a lot of good cross-pollination between buyers and designers in their space. We’re both speaking to young consumers and providing solutions for the furniture store buyers who want to attract them.”
Dressing five beds in the Meridian showroom, the top-of-bed presentation will capitalize on relaxed textures and encompass five solid quilted coverlet sets available in 16 colorways, and four elegantly patterned comforter sets in five colorways. Ready-to-Bed Sets come in king and queen sizes and include matching king or standard shams. Twin size includes one standard sham.
“Too often, top-of-bed can be an afterthought on furniture store floors,” said Mitch Hodges, vice president of sales, “but this is a great way to increase tickets in bedroom sales, in the same way you wouldn’t sell rugs, without rug pads.”
