KI Announces Products Named Finalists in Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards

KI announced that two of its products, Cogni and Clamber, were named finalists in Interior Design magazine’s 2025 Best of Year Awards, one of the design industry’s most recognized annual programs.

The Best of Year Awards honor outstanding products and projects across the global design community. Finalists are selected by a jury of design professionals and editors based on innovation, functionality, and overall design excellence.

“Being named a finalist for two products in the Best of Year Awards is meaningful recognition of our design approach,” said Angela Allen, director of product management at KI. “Cogni and Clamber reflect our commitment to creating furniture that supports how people learn, connect, and interact, while meeting high standards for design and performance.”

Cogni, an active classroom seating solution, was named a finalist in the Educational Furniture category. Designed to support movement, focus, and collaboration, Cogni addresses the needs of modern learning environments through ergonomic, student-centered design.

Clamber, a modular tiered seating system, was named a finalist in the Contract Sofas category. The product offers flexible configurations intended to support collaboration and comfort in shared spaces, including education, workplace, and public environments.

Finalist recognition places Cogni and Clamber among notable product designs introduced in 2025 and reflects KI’s continued focus on human-centered design and innovation.
