In 2025, Hope to Dream, a non-profit organization, celebrated 15 years of providing children in need with their very own bed. Throughout the milestone year, nearly 13,500 children received bed sets from Hope to Dream, complete with a twin mattress, bed frame, bedding and pillow. Since inception, the organization has donated more than 190,000 beds across the U.S. and Canada.
Rooted in the belief that every child deserves a bed to call their own, Hope to Dream works alongside Ashley and community partners to turn its mission into reality. Recipients are selected through a nomination process in collaboration with school districts and local charitable organizations. This year alone, the organization partnered with 14 charities across the country to identify and deliver beds to the children facing the greatest need. In addition, each mattress purchased at over 725 participating Ashley stores in the U.S. and Canada helps fulfill the mission to provide every child with a good night’s sleep.
The year was marked with impactful moments, including a record-breaking Swing for Sleep fundraising event, which fully funded 600 complete beds sets for children. Additionally, the organization introduced the program at Ashley stores in Hawaii and committed a donation of 95 beds in the organization’s newest community. Donation events brought local communities together, including an inspiring bed reveal at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Alabama and a surprise community event in Mississippi with the Boys & Girls Club of North Mississippi. In response to the devastating natural disasters in California and Texas, Hope to Dream donated 400 bed sets to children impacted, helping provide comfort and hope in their greatest time of need.
“I don’t know how to explain to you the joy and all the emotion that comes forth in seeing how the kids are responding to having a new bed of their own and how humbled the parents are by this process,” stated Zell Long, CEO, Boys & Girls Club of North Mississippi. “We just want to say thank you Ashley and Hope to Dream for making dreams come true for the kids that we serve.”
As Hope to Dream looks toward the future, the organization remains committed to its founding mission: ensuring every child has a good night’s sleep and a bed to call their own. To learn more about the program and to nominate a child in need, visit www.ahopetodream.com.
