Industry Related Recalls of Chandeliers, Dressers & Murphy Beds

Over the past few weeks, there has been a run on recalls from industry-related items ranging from lighting, storage, and beds. Below is a brief listing of each item or visit the linked recall for full information.

Recall No. 1 - The Currey & Company Electra Chandelier and Electra Three Tier Chandelier light fixtures are being recalled due to impact injury hazard.

The fixtures are made of glass and iron with a brass metal frame. The Electra Chandelier, model number 9000-1234, measures 18 inches by 29 inches and weighs 51 pounds. The Electra Three Tier Chandelier, model number 9000-1235, measures 47 inches by 29 inches and weighs 131 pounds. “Currey & Company” and the model number are printed on the fixture’s ceiling canopy.

The firm has received two reports of the chandelier light fixtures falling from the ceiling, with one incident involving property damage. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately contact Currey & Company to receive a free in-home repair kit to replace the connection component. Currey will pay the consumer’s professional installation costs directly or reimburse consumers for the full cost of the professional installation of the repair.

Dresser Recalls

Recall No. 2 – KKL Fabric 9-drawer dressers are being recalled due to risk of serious injury or death from tip-over and entrapment hazards and violations of mandatory standards for clothing storage units.

The recalled dressers were sold in black, brown and white. They have a metal frame, wooden top with recessed power outlets, and nine collapsable fabric drawers. The dressers are 37.8 inches long by 11.8 inches wide by 53.9 inches tall.

Consumers should stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. Contact HK Brilliant for instructions on how to dispose of the dressers to receive a full refund. Consumers must submit a photo to support-us@kkl-home.com demonstrating disposal of the product.

Recall No. 3 – 17 Stories Furniture 18-Draw Dressers have been recalled because they are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazard that can result in injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory standard as required by the STURDY Act.

The recalled dressers were sold in black, brown and gray. They have a metal frame, wooden top and 18 collapsable fabric drawers. HI1382_13, HI1382_01 or HI1382_09 are printed on a label located the outer packaging of the product.

Consumers should stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. Contact 17 Stories Furniture for instructions on how to dispose of the dressers to receive a full refund.

The dressers were sold at wayfair.com from Sept 2023 through Nov 2025 for about $100. There have been no injuries reported, and consumers must submit a photo to Drawer18Recall@outlook.com demonstrating disposal of the product.

Recall No. 4 – Furnulem 8-Draw Dresser have been recalled due to risk of injury or death from tip-over and entrapment hazards. The dressers violate the mandatory standard as required by the STURDY Act.

The dressers were sold in black, brown and white and measure about 13.8 inches long by 45 inches wide by 29.7 inches tall. They have a metal frame, a wooden top with recessed power outlets and eight collapsible fabric drawers. Model “DS-0148D003” is printed on the packaging.

There have been no injuries reported, and approximately 16,800 dressers were sold on Amazon.com from Sept 2023 through Nov 2025 for about $80.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dressers if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. Recall No. 5Casaottima 13-Drawer Dressers have been recalled due to risk of injury or death from tip-over and entrapment hazards. The dressers violate the mandatory standard as required by the STURDY Act.

The recalled dressers were sold in the following colors: black, black and vintage, gray and pink. They have a metal frame, wooden top, 13 collapsable fabric drawers, and an outlet on the top of the dresser. The dressers measure approximately 55 inches (width) x 11.8 inches (depth) x 39.8 inches (height). The recalled product packages are marked with one of the following identifiers: B0D62S9H39, B0D62TCKD7, B0D62SQC6Q, B0D62VBGZG.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dressers if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. Contact Casaottima for instructions on how to dispose of the dressers to receive a full refund. Consumers must submit a photo to support@casaottima.store showing disposal of the product.

No injuries have been reported, and approximately 4,100 units were sold on Amazon.com from Sept 2024 through Oct 2025 for about $90.

Murphy Bed

Recall No. 6 – The FUFU&GAGA white wood queen size murphy wall bed has been recalled due to impact and laceration hazards.

The beds are designed to be wall-mounted and can fold into a cabinet. The wall beds measure about 86 inches high and 65 inches wide. The model number is KF210284US-01MH-A001 and can be found on the instruction booklet and packaging.

The firm has received two reports of the wall beds falling during assembly when the wall beds were not anchored to the wall, resulting in two injured consumers. One consumer sustained a laceration, a bruise, and a fractured growth plate in her finger, and another consumer sustained a laceration to his face that required eight stitches.

The beds were sold at HomeDepot.com and Lowes.com from Jan 2025 through April 2025 for about $550. About 250 units were sold.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wall beds and contact Ningbo Tianqi Electronic for a full refund. To obtain a refund, consumers will be provided with a disassembly kit that contains tools, brackets and screws with instructions on how to disassemble and discard the wall beds.
