‘9 settimane’ (‘9 weeks’), tapestry

From the Linea Contemporanea collection, a unique tapestry where art and nature merge in a delicate narrative. ‘Ippopotami di Notte’ (‘Hippos at Night’), rug

A unique piece from the Nuove Creazioni collection, this rug belongs to the Trasferelli series, Giulio Caponi’s tribute to temporary tattoos that were transferred from paper to skin with a little water, sweet memories of childhood. A world dedicated to playmates: hippos, crocodiles, fantasy animals, dragons, mangroves, plants, and flowers. A must-have for feeling like a real young pirate! The artist proposes the hippopotamus, but everyone can choose the design they love.

The rug is made of grass-stitched carpet. The work is embroidered with wool from Sardinia, obtained by hand spinning and carding and dyed with local herbs, fruits, and flowers.

The felt, which is completely natural, is made by a group of disabled young people from South Tyrol who raise a flock of sheep, shear them, and manually process the fabric, which is then dyed with natural elements.
