Artistic Tile Collaborates with Alison Rose with ‘Artifact’

her signature style, Rose infuses a historic pattern with a modern sensibility, evoking an ancient yet timeless aesthetic. A mix of tumbled shapes and honed tesserae mosaics, Artifact is stocked in three colorways: Bianco Dolomiti, Bianco Antico, and Belgian Bluestone.

Rose expressed, “A study in contrast and continuity, Artifact is inspired by ancient Roman mosaics — reinterpreted through a modern lens to honor history while feeling undeniably of today. Mosaics carry a dialogue between past and present. Through the ancient craft using tesserae, we honor the evidence of the maker's hand - a study in color, and most beautifully, texture. This tactile language engages both the eye and sense of touch, embedded with understated utility.”

This design won the Best of BDNY Award during the trade show, solidifying it as a success. Many of Alison's designs with Artistic Tile are best sellers for the brand, making it easy to continue their partnership into the next phase.
