MillerKnoll Debuts First Showroom in Mainland China

MillerKnoll debuted its first showroom in mainland China, located in Shanghai’s vibrant Bridge 8 district. This milestone marks a significant expansion of the collective’s presence in China’s design community.

The 384 square-meters (4,133 square-feet) destination brings together MillerKnoll’s collective of iconic and innovative brands—including Herman Miller, Knoll, Colebrook Bosson Saunders, Geiger, Maharam, Muuto, and NaughtOne—under one roof. The space serves as a living example of next-generation workplace design, seamlessly blending zones for focused work, team collaboration, and hospitality-inspired experiences.

"Shanghai represents more than a new location—it’s a commitment to partnering with China’s design community as workplace expectations evolve,” said Rob Woodbridge, President of International Contract, MillerKnoll. “Our goal is to share global expertise, learn from local innovators, and co-create solutions that define the future of work in Asia.”

China’s workplace design is undergoing a profound transformation driven by hybrid work adoption, a surge in flexible office solutions, and a growing emphasis on well-being and sustainability. Organizations want spaces that blend hospitality-inspired experiences with collaborative zones, supported by smart technology and local context. MillerKnoll Shanghai reflects these priorities, offering an environment where global design expertise meets local innovation.

MillerKnoll Shanghai is now open, welcoming architects, designers, and business leaders, to experience the next era of workplace innovation. This showroom is a catalyst for collaboration, creativity, and ideas shaping the future of design in China.
