HealthGuard Closes 2025 with Renewed Commitment to Community

HealthGuard, a leading provider of top-of-bed products for major retailers across North America, is closing 2025 with a renewed commitment to community stewardship reflected through a series of philanthropic initiatives that span housing support, food security, and holiday giving.
Now in its third consecutive year partnering with Habitat for Humanity, HealthGuard has contributed about $400,000 to date to help advance the organization’s mission of providing safe, affordable housing for families across the United States and Canada.
“Supporting Habitat has become a meaningful part of who we are,” said Greg Hall, president of HealthGuard/Bay Street Manufacturing. “As our retail partnerships have expanded, so has our desire to invest in the communities where our customers and employees live and work. We are proud that our contributions over the past three years have helped more families move toward stability.”
As the company deepened its holiday giving efforts, an internal company tradition of Secret Santa evolved into one of HealthGuard’s most cherished commitments -- sponsoring local families in need during the holiday season. Last year, the team provided essential support for a struggling household and delivered boxes of toys to the local police station for children of all ages. This year, HealthGuard is continuing the annual toy drive while also supporting a single mother with a 14-month-old daughter—an expansion of the team’s dedication to meaningful seasonal giving.
“While we set out to brighten someone else’s holiday, we were the ones who felt truly blessed, reinforcing that it is always better to give than to receive,” said Ryan Cleary, HealthGuard vice president of sales.
Further demonstrating the company’s belief in partnership-driven impact, HealthGuard collaborated with two longtime customers to contribute to charitable causes in their respective communities. Together, they supported City Gate Network, which serves individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction, and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, one of the region’s largest hunger-relief organizations. These contributions reflect HealthGuard’s commitment to aligning its values with the efforts of its partners to address local needs.
HealthGuard’s philanthropic initiatives throughout 2025—spanning housing, hunger relief, and holiday support—underscore the company’s belief that business success is strengthened by giving back.
