Hope to Dream Announces Success of Annual Fundraiser

Hope to Dream is pleased to announce the success of its annual fundraising event held at Topgolf in St. Petersburg, Florida. The event, hosted by NFL veteran and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard alongside Carolyn Moore, brought together community members and supporters for a day dedicated to helping children in need.
The funds raised during this year’s event will enable Hope to Dream to donate beds to children throughout the country who are in need of a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Each bed set includes a twin mattress, bed frame, bedding and pillow, providing children with the essential foundation for healthy rest and development.
As recently engaged and both single parents, Shepard and Moore are merging their families and understand firsthand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing home. Through this event, they’re uniting their shared commitment to family and community to help ensure every child has a comfortable place to rest, dream, and grow.
“We’re honored to partner with Hope to Dream on such an important mission,” said Sterling Shepard. “Every child deserves a good night’s sleep in a bed of their own. It’s inspiring to see our community come together to make that possible for kids who need it most.”
Since 2010, Hope to Dream has remained dedicated to its mission of providing every child with a good night’s sleep. The non-profit organization believes that every child should have a bed to call their own. Since its inception, more than 190,000 children have received a brand-new bed. By providing these essential sleep resources, Hope to Dream aims to set children on the path to a healthier and more productive life. A portion of every mattress purchased at participating Ashley stores helps Hope to Dream achieve this mission.
“A bed is more than just a place to sleep—it’s a foundation for growth, learning, and well-being,” stated Ruthie Bautista, Hope to Dream Vice President. “Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the leadership of Sterling Shepard and Carolyn Moore, we’re able to continue providing children with the comfort and security they deserve.”
