Illulian Presents New Collections at Dubai Design Week

The highlight of this edition is the Quantum Dance Collection, designed by artist Jessica Moritz: two rugs, Supernova and Serendipity, conceived as a journey through perception – a poetic reflection on how time and light shape visual reality.

Illulian’s participation in Downtown Design also offers a journey through the brand’s diverse creative expressions: from the Limited Edition Collection, featuring rugs designed by some of the most brilliant international creative minds, to the Design Collection, with patterns and motifs developed by the brand’s in- house creative department; from the Essential Collection, which celebrates the purity of craftsmanship through minimalist designs, to the Palace Collection, characterized by classically inspired decorations that harmoniously complement even the most contemporary interiors.

With its presence at Downtown Design 2025, Illulian once again reaffirms the dialogue between art, tradition, and innovation, consolidating its position as a leading name in the international world of high-end textile design.

SERENDIPITY BY JESSICA MORITZ - LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION
Serendipity evolves from the torus, a sacred geometric form that embodies flow and balance. Three interwoven rings echo the cycles of energy moving in and out, symbolizing harmony and equilibrium. From this primordial form arises an intimate reflection on inner balance: the ability to create harmony where no path exists, a sense of release within, a mental choreography that keeps moving.

SUPERNOVA by JESSICA MORITZ - LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION
Supernova celebrates the allure of uncertain paths and trajectories that bend and regenerate over time. Circles mark turning points; lines trace the passage of time; shapes reflect on the journey. FLORALIA YARD VOL. II by PAULA CADEMARTORI - LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION
Floralia Yard is a journey into the designer’s wondrous world. Inspired by sinuous geometries, ornamental lines, and floral patterns, Floralia Yard brings to life a vibrant tapestry of eclectic artistry. The rug offers an immersive visual and sensory experience, where its intricate motifs and rich hues captivate the eye and evoke a deep emotional response.

TARAXACUM by FONDAZIONE ACHILLE CASTIGLIONI – LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION
Taraxacum, named after the lamp of the same name, is a celebration of the creative genius of one of the greatest masters of 20th century Italian design: Achille Castiglioni. The latter, with its floral shape and the play of light it emanates, has inspired a textile creation that captures the essence of the original work.

CREEK – DESIGN COLLECTION
The Creek rug stands out for its irregular, soft, and fluid shape, which breaks away from geometric conventions and invites the eye to follow its sinuous contours.
