“Every object is thought non only as a functional shape, but as an expression, a manner, and as such, it cannot (be) put aside from the belonging to its time. Our design’s method is a mix of styles, a cooperation between aesthetics and ways of use [...] An idea that, as a weave, unties it through the resolution of a function always mediated by forms able to characterize the object according to its times and places. A method that ties fashion, art and design as forms of the same time [...],” stated Lorenza Bozzoli.
A Milanese designer, Lorenza Bozzoli attended the Academy of Brera and began her career in New York, where she gained significant experience in the fashion field. Returned to Milan, she
expanded her creative exploration to embrace design as well. Her style thus becomes a kaleidoscope of cosmopolitan influences – a bold and distinctive language that seamlessly blends fashion, art and design in a surprising way.
A mix of artisanal luxury, chromatic exploration and sartorial spirit defines her stylistic signature. Her pieces don’t just furnish a space; they tell stories, evoke emotions and transform interiors into personal stage sets. A vision that aligns with Ghidini1961’s – a brand she’s been collaborating with for years.
Following the success of the Mambo sofa and armchair, launched in 2024, the collection expands in 2025 with a new piece of a strong personality: the namesake bed. Its generous, enveloping lines echo the fluid and dynamic aesthetic of the seating, celebrating the movement and expressiveness of the famous Caribbean dance.
The Mambo sofa, armchair and bed can be complemented by the Cards and UFO side tables – also designed by her – new for 2025, which elegantly complete the setting.
MAMBO bed – the sinuousness of shapes
From the Mambo sofa takes shape the namesake bed, a celebration of the movement, fluidity and expressiveness of the famous Caribbean dance. A bed that elegantly defines the space, evoking the graceful and lively movements of mambo dancers. Its form is a dance that invites you to relax and let yourself be lulled by its comfort.
The color of the chosen velvet recalls the energy and fertility of the tropical land, its generous curls the costumes of Creole dancers.
MAMBO sofa and armchair – the celebration of comfort
This modular sofa is not simply a piece of furniture but a celebration of the movement, fluidity and expressiveness of the famous Caribbean dance.
The sinuous shape allows the sofa to unfold in the space in an elegant way, evoking the graceful and lively movements of mambo dancers. Each module of the sofa is composed in harmony with the others in a dance that invites you to sit down and let yourself be lulled by its comfort. The generous oversized shapes of the armchair are an invitation to take a break.
CARDS side table – essential yet expressive
CARDS is a side table in wood and metal, or marble and metal that seamlessly blends functionality and design. Its name comes from direct inspiration: it recalls a structure made of playing cards. Ideal as a bedside next to the bed or as a side table in the living room,
CARDS is an object that catches the eye without being intrusive. Each side tells a different story, turning a piece of furniture into a miniature work of domestic architecture.
Contrasting surfaces – featuring a dark panel with a rounded profile and a metal side section establish a dynamic visual dialogue.
UFO bedside table – a contemporary, functional and elegant aesthetic
UFO, placed next to the Mambo bed, forms a truly elegant combination – soft and embracing design on one hand, and sleek, futuristic lines on the other. The base consists of a central column that extends into a four - spoke, pedestal – style stand, also in a metallic grey finish, the upper structure is a container open on both sides, useful for storing books, objects or small devices.
