MillerKnoll, a collective of dynamic design brands, announces that it has been named to Newsweek’s 2026 list of America’s Greenest Companies. This list recognizes the top U.S. companies for environmental sustainability in key areas such as greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and sustainability data disclosure and commitments. This national recognition underscores MillerKnoll’s dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
“Design isn’t just what we make — it’s how we make it,” said Gabe Wing, Vice President of Sustainability at MillerKnoll. “From the materials we choose to the energy we use, every decision is an opportunity to live our values. Recognition like this tells us we’re heading in the right direction.”
In the past year, MillerKnoll has made significant strides to transition to renewable energy, increase the recycled content of its products, and improve recyclability of materials . Examples of key initiatives:
Renewable Energy & Waste Reduction: MillerKnoll now uses 100% renewable electricity across all global manufacturing facilities. The company is also committed to reducing waste across all manufacturing processes.
