Green River Group Creates New U.S. Holding Company Brand

Green River Brands is the new U.S. based entity that owns the operating companies purchased last year.  “It’s important our retail partners understand we have strong and engaged ownership that is providing a stable platform on which to drive growth and efficiencies,” said Chief Executive Officer Lee Boone.

The combination of these companies with long-established Green River Group factories creates a compelling vertical business model within each brand.  Each company can now source products at company-owned factories as well as non-owned factories within the Green River Group sourcing network.  This flexibility enables each brand to manufacture products at the best facility across a wide range of product categories.

In addition to manufacturing and sourcing advantages, Green River Brands has launched multiple initiatives to improve US operational efficiencies across the business.  These enhancements include consolidated warehousing and distribution, a new shared ERP platform, integrated financial systems, centralized logistics and operations. Product design, merchandising, sales, and marketing aspects of each business unit will remain independent and specialized in their market position.  Each brand will control its own product and market-facing aspects while benefitting from shared collective resources.
