Casa Italia Launches Passport Program at HPMKT for Trip to Salone del Mobile

Casa Italia has launched its 2025 Passport promotion for the Fall High Point Market, enabling registered buyers and interior designers to compete for an expense-paid trip to Italy. Buyers and designers must register and receive a passport in the iconic 130 West Commerce Avenue lobby, and then get the document stamped by participating companies in the building.
A winner will be selected on Oct. 31, and the drawing will be posted on Casa Italia’s Instagram page. The winner will receive travel and hotel expenses to the internationally acclaimed Salone del Mobile furniture show in Milan in April 2026.
“We are very much the Italian design destination in High Point with 15 leading brands showcasing the best of Italian home furnishings. What better way to celebrate Italian design than pairing a visit to our showroom with the opportunity to attend Salone del Mobile, the design destination in Europe,” said Caitlin Smith, marketing director, Casa Italia.
Casa Italia had record participation in the program last year. To participate in this year’s competition, and receive their passport, Market attendees are invited to register at the building’s front desk.
Built in 1998, the iconic building is designed as a ship, whose hull towers over the streetscape and is moored in a small waterway, accessible with a gang plank. The architecture was chosen as an homage to the personal story of Pasquale Natuzzi, the founder of the Natuzzi brand and owner of the building, to chronicle his own journey to the United States.
The brands featured in the Casa Italia building include Calia Italia, Calligaris, Composad, Connubia, Ditre Italia, Divanni, Formitalia, Gamma, Gorini, Luce Plan, Magniflex, Natuzzi Editions, Natuzzi Italia, Nicoletti Home and Tomasella.
