Jessica Duce Named as Hooker Furnishings Brand Ambassador

Known for designing stylish, experience-focused spaces, Jessica Duce—influencer, short-term rental designer, and co-founder of the Vacation Rental Design Summit—has been named a brand ambassador for Hooker Furnishings. In this role, she will help bring the company’s design stories to life across its portfolio, beginning with the launch of its new Margaritaville collection.

With her unique background in creating spaces that celebrate relaxation, connection, and escape, Duce designs spaces that transport both guests and homeowners. She will help Hooker Furnishings engage retailers, designers, and consumers through lifestyle-driven design that blends relaxed yet luxurious elegance and the spirit of escape in every detail.

“For over a decade, I’ve dedicated myself to designing interiors that offer a true sense of escape,” Duce said. “My work creating luxury retreats has expanded my understanding of how furniture influences experiences—turning everyday spaces into destinations for relaxation and inspiration. I’m eager to bring that perspective to Hooker, starting with the iconic Margaritaville collection and extending through its entire portfolio to help retailers and designers craft spaces where comfort, style, and experience blend seamlessly."

The collaboration extends into 2026, with Duce emphasizing the company’s dedication to making furniture that helps people live more comfortably and joyfully—through social storytelling, retail activations, and design partnerships. She will work closely with Hooker Furnishings’ retail partners to deliver creative content and insights that improve connections with consumers and local design communities, while supporting in-store storytelling and sharing inspiration that makes every collection accessible to both audiences.

“With a background that merges design and hospitality, Jessica offers unique insights into how furnishings can create memorable experiences,” said Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer at Hooker Furnishings. “As a designer of short-term rental properties, she has helped shape how today’s travelers enjoy leisure living through thoughtful interior design. That perspective makes her a natural fit as our brand ambassador, starting with bringing the Margaritaville Lifestyle into retail showrooms and homes nationwide.”

Duce, along with Linda Holt, an interior designer and professional photographer, will debut her new role during the Fall High Point Market with a panel titled “Designing for Escape” on October 24 at 2 p.m. in the Hooker Furnishings showroom on the third floor of Showplace. After the session, Duce will personally guide attendees through Hooker Furnishings' newly transformed Margaritaville space, highlighting designs that are especially well-suited for short-term rental properties.
