Furniture Classics will be shaking things up this October at the High Point Furniture Market by launching an accessory line to complement their existing furniture lines. This extraordinary line of decorative accessories will be on display in their showroom in IHFC C-502 at market.
For over thirty years, Furniture Classics has been serving retailers and designers alike by offering high-design, high-quality standalone furniture pieces that work seamlessly together to enhance any room design and create a beautiful home.
Their new decorative accessory assortments are no exception, adhering to the same principles of design and production utilized with their furniture lines, these décor items are produced by the same artisan craftsmen and partners who deliver the unique and beautiful furniture pieces Furniture Classic is well known for today.
“The inspiration for Furniture Classics home décor assortment is largely based on our furniture lines where the focus is on unique, artisan pieces, oftentimes incorporating reclaimed and recycled materials” said Michael Ricks, President of Furniture Classics. “Just like for our furniture, we are always researching and applying leading industry trends to the product development process in order to deliver amazing overall designs and collections for our customers.”
For Furniture Classics, the addition of decorative accessories expands their overall assortment and further strengthens their relationships with both current and new customers by offering the opportunity for buyers to have a more robust buying experience. The product line will include many types of décor items with unique styles such as bar boxes, wine bottle holders, wall accents, sculptures, vases, candle holders, platters/trays and hand carved bowls. Many of their accessory products come in sets of two or three and the price points for all items range from medium to medium high.
Furniture Classic’s decorative accessory lines are in stock and will be warehoused in their 140,000 square foot headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia. They will be shipped from this location with a 48-hour turnaround time. These products will be available to ship individually or as a part of their overall shipping program, which allows their customers to mix and match furniture with decorative accessory pieces. This approach offers more flexibility and overall value for their partners.
For two generations, this family-owned business has been steeped in a rich history and even deeper knowledge of the home furnishings industry. They are well known for the use of various solid woods in their furniture products and high-quality traditional construction utilizing old world techniques combined with modern approaches in design. Their extensive furniture line, including all types of seating, tables/dining, storage, displays, vanities, outdoor furniture etc., represent various styles, from construction of authentic reproductions to classic and modern styles, often with hand painted designs or exquisite finishes.
