Industry Related Recalls Announced from Dressers to Blinds

Gunaito 10-Drawer Dressers
Gunaito 10-Drawer Dressers have been recalled due to the risk of serious injury or death from tip-over and entrapment hazards that violate mandatory standard for clothing storage units that were sold on Walmart.com by Gunaito. The recalled dressers are unstable, if they are not anchored to the wall, they pose serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory standard as required by the STURDY Act.

This recall involves Gunaito 10-drawer dressers in brown and white. The recalled dressers have a metal frame, a wooden top, 10 collapsing fabric drawers of different sizes with pull knobs, and four side-pockets. The dressers measure about 39 inches by 39 inches by 12 inches and weigh about 30 pounds. “HD006BN-SLCD” or “HD006WH-SLCD” is printed on the product packaging. Approximately 610 units of the dressers were sold, and no incidents or injuries have been reported. The units were sold at Walmart.com from December 2024 through August 2025 for about $70.

Consumers should stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. Contact Gunaito for instructions on how to dispose of the dressers to receive a full refund. Consumers must submit a photo to gunaito10recall@outlook.com showing disposal of the product.

Persilux Zebra Blinds
Persilux Brand Zebra Blinds have been recalled due to strangulation and entanglement hazards and risk of serious injury or death and that they violate federal rules for window coverings. In addition, the blinds also violate labeling requirements for window coverings. Approximately 133,000 unites were sold on Amazon from June 2023 through June 2025 for between $40 and $124. There have been no injuries or incidents from these blinds.

The recalled stock blinds were sold in beige, black, dark gray, light gray and white, with sizes ranging from 22 to 73 inches wide and 64 to 72 inches high. “Persilux and “Zebra Blinds” is printed on the product packaging. “X003FFPT63” is printed on the barcode label. 

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled blinds and contact Persilux for a free repair kit, including shipping. The repair kit consists of a replacement operating cord wand and installation instructions. Consumers should remove the blind, cut and remove the operating cord and send a photograph of the blinds, with the operating cord removed to recall@persiluxhome.com

Autoez Bamboo Shades
Autoez Bamboo Shades have been recalled due to their long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children, due to strangulation and entanglement hazards. The shades violate the federal regulations for window coverings and present a substantial product hazard. The shades also violate labeling requirements for window coverings.

Consumers should immediately put the shade’s operating cords up and away from children and contact Sichuan Yunduan Renjia Trading Co, Ltd to receive a full refund. Consumers must send a photo of the recalled product with the operating cord cut to Autoez_recall@163.com.

The affected blinds are the basic model sizes range from 24-72 inches wide to 64-72 inches long. The products that have been recalled were manufactured from September 2023 through May 2025 and purchased at Walmart.

This recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission.
