IKEA U.S. Deepens Roots in Texas with Opening in McAllen-Pharr

IKEA U.S. announces that IKEA McAllen-Pharr will open its doors to the Rio Grande Valley community on October 1. This new store brings the IKEA experience closer to the many, offering affordable and functional home furnishings designed to support a better life at home.

We invite the Rio Grande Valley community to join us to experience the IKEA difference firsthand.”
Located in the Pharr Towne Center at 500 N. Jackson Road, Pharr, TX 78577, IKEA McAllen-Pharr is a one-level store spanning approximately 44,000 square feet. The store is designed to inspire and support customers with smart, stylish solutions for everyday living. Shoppers will find more than 1,600 products available for immediate takeaway, and the full IKEA range can be ordered online with options for free store pickup or low-cost home delivery.
Visitors can enjoy the Swedish food experience with a variety of hot and cold favorites, available to enjoy in-store or to take home. IKEA McAllen-Pharr also includes an As-is section, offering gently used and discontinued items that promote sustainable furnishing and give products a second life. The store also features personalized planning services for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and small spaces, supported by IKEA team members ready to help bring home furnishing visions to life.

The Rio Grande Valley community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of IKEA McAllen-Pharr on October 1, and customers can begin lining up at 7 a.m. followed by official remarks just before the store opens at 10:00 a.m. The first 100 children will receive soft toys, and early visitors can enjoy exciting giveaways including IKEA products and gift cards while supplies last. Regular store hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
IKEA is dedicated to elevating the customer experience with a variety of customer meeting points and locations that complement each other and meet people's different home furnishing needs. Texas continues to be a key growth market for IKEA, with six existing stores, three Plan & Order points and two additional stores opening soon in Rockwall and Dallas.
