Lavin Rugs Names Michael Castell Director of Sales

Lavin Rugs, a supplier of premium rugs, announces the appointment of Michael Castell as its new Director of Sales. With more than two decades of experience in the flooring and home décor industry, Castell brings a unique combination of leadership, market expertise, and operational insight that will help drive Lavin Rugs’ growth and strengthen its partnerships with retailers nationwide.
“Michael brings a deep understanding of the rug and flooring business, from retail to wholesale, and his extensive experience makes him uniquely positioned to lead our sales team,” said Jose Lopez, President of Lavin Rugs. “His proven track record of building strong client relationships and driving growth aligns perfectly with our vision for the future.”
For Castell, joining Lavin Rugs represents a return to his roots and a continuation of his lifelong passion for the industry. Growing up in a family-owned retail carpet store, he developed a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and customer service early on. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
