Hope to Dream Donates Bed Sets to Community & Home Supports, Inc. in Michigan

Hope to Dream, a 501c3 organization, donated 50 complete bed sets to Community and Home Supports, Inc. for Michigan families working toward independence and stability. Each bed set includes a twin mattress, bed frame, bedding and pillow, and will be distributed as the families move into permanent housing or reach milestones in their support programs, helping them establish stable, comfortable living environments.

Community and Home Supports, Inc. provide comprehensive services to individuals and families throughout Michigan, helping them achieve greater independence through various support programs and services.

“We are incredibly grateful to Hope to Dream for their generosity,” said John Stoyka, Executive Director and CEO, of Community and Home Supports, Inc. “This donation will have a tangible impact on the lives of the children we assist, supporting our ongoing mission to ensure every child has a safe place to sleep and thrive.”

Established in 2010, Hope to Dream has been dedicated to the mission of providing every child with a good night’s sleep. Since inception, more than 190,000 children have received a brand-new bed. By providing these essential sleep resources, Hope to Dream aims to set children on the path to a healthier and more productive life.  The program continues to grow through a portion of proceeds from every mattress purchase at participating Ashley retail locations being donated to Hope to Dream.

"A good night's sleep is often the foundation that everything else builds upon – from mental health to job performance to family stability," said Ben Thorud, President of Hope to Dream. "Through our partnership with Community and Home Supports, Inc., we're providing more than just beds – we're supporting each person's journey toward independence and success."
