Matter Brothers Furniture Appoints Senior Vice President of Sales & Operations

Matter Brothers Furniture and Florida Leather Gallery announced the expansion of the executive management team with the addition of a newly created role: Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations. This key leadership position will oversee multiple departments, including Merchandising, Purchasing, Operations, IT, Warehouse, and Marketing, while working closely with ownership to drive long-term strategic growth.
Steven King has been appointed to this pivotal role. Steve brings more than 20 years of experience in the home furnishings industry. Throughout his career, Steve has been a results-driven leader known for optimizing retail strategy, product development, business growth, and marketing innovation.

Outside the office, Steve leads an adventurous life defined by personal growth and exploration. As a licensed airplane pilot and current helicopter student, he’s no stranger to pushing boundaries. He’s also an avid sports and outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities such as paragliding, skiing, deep-water fishing, and golf. Steve lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife and shares many of these passions with their five adult children.
