Luxury bedding manufacturer, Kingsdown, Inc., is dreaming in color with the launch of Indigo Dream, a four-bed, higher-end, featured packed collection.
Indigo Dream is offered in a tight-top firm, tight-top plush and Euro-top plush model. The new mattresses each have their own identity and are designed with exciting curb appeal with covers in indigo blue and white fabric, with an intricate paisley pattern in multiple dimensions. Displayed in the showroom’s opposite front window (C-1401), across from the original Vintage Couture three-piece Indigo Dream bed launched last Witner, they feature Wave Coil construction, to perfectly match the naturally curved shape of the human body and are replete with luxury fibers and foams.
The new mattresses are part of the brand’s high-end Vintage Couture collection, but are priced at $8,000 to $10,000 in queen, just under the $11,000 top-of-line.
“We all aspire to captivate someone’s senses, and the original Vintage Couture Indigo Dream was created to capture attention, to stop people in their tracks in the hallway on the 14th floor of Building C and entice them to walk into our showroom to experience all that we offer,” said Kingsdown Chairman Michael James, who designed the collection.. “The reality is we sometimes get away from the idea that the bed in the window should sell, that it’s important to transact with a high-fashion look. The truth is that we didn’t actually expect people to walk in and say, ‘I want that.’ But they did.”
“So often in couture apparel fashion, the runway introductions that turn heads and make headlines are never actually seen on the street,” said Frank Hood, president and chief executive officer of Kingsdown. “These new Vintage Couture beds have been designed to not only offer a stunning presentation on retailers’ floors, but to represent real value to the consumer when compared to other luxury beds swimming in the $15,000 to $25,000 range in the marketplace. They look great, feel great and offer a superlative margin for our dealers.”
