Leading mattress manufacturer, Bedding Industries of America (BIA), has expanded its sales force in its Chicago plant, BIA Midwest, with the appointment of Aaron Reynolds as territory manager. In this new role for the company, Reynolds is targeting three key untapped states for the brand: Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. He reports directly to BIA Vice President of Business Development in the Midwest, Paul Kenis.
Based in the region, Reynolds brings to BIA over 13 years of industry experience in sales management. Most recently, he served as territory sales representative in Arkansas and Tennessee for Flexsteel, a leading furniture manufacturer. Prior to that position, he held sales representative roles with a variety of industry leaders, including Ivan Smith Furniture, and most notably, Tempur-Sealy.
“We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Reynolds to our team as our new Midwest territory manager,” said Paul Kenis, BIA’s vice president of business development in the Midwest. “Aaron’s deep regional experience and strong network make him an ideal fit for the role as we expand our penetration deeper into the region, which is an important step in strengthening our nationwide presence.”
“Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to create long-standing connections with key retailers in the Midwest and immerse myself in the wants and needs of the consumer base there,” said Reynolds. “I’m proud to represent BIA in the region, not only thanks to the breadth of quality product and superior margins they are able to offer dealers, but also their reputation for reliability and family-owned company values.”
Reynolds resides in Talco, Texas, with his family. He received his bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University, where he majored in marketing management.
