Ghidini1961 Teams with Designer Robert Stadler for Collections

Ghidini1961 has teamed with designer, Robert Stadler, an internationally renowned Viennese designer based in Paris, who is known for his ability to challenge the conventions of design through an ironic, conceptual and surprisingly functional approach. His projects effortlessly cross the border between art and design, blending formal rigor and research into materials.

Robert Stadler is one of the most original voices in contemporary design and his works are featured in the permanent collections of institutions such as the Vitra Design Museum, Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, the Centre Georges Pompidou, MAK in Vienna, MAD Paris and he collaborates with prestigious Galleries for the production of limited-edition works.

With a poetics that embraces the tension between opposites–craftsmanship and industry, functionality and provocation–Stadler invites us to explore the everyday through objects that tell unusual stories. The collaboration with Ghidini1961 is part of this journey, giving life to two collections that speak of modularity, elegance and experimentation, and which best express the designer’s singular, innovative vision alongside the Italian company’s savoir-faire. The choice of materials and the calibrated use of colour transform the idea into a vibrant product.

FLEXOR shelving system, the infinite compositions of a wall–design 2025
The Flexor shelving system’s aluminum extrusion structure allows endless combination possibilities. The sturdy metal elements–the heart of the project–connect and support the various wooden containers.

TASCA, sofa and armchair–design 2024
The name Tasca refers to the cushion’s elegant leather pockets in which the seat’s structure is housed. Both the pockets and the metal parts are reminiscent of distinct equestrian accessories. A rigorous yet cozy and comfortable seat, a journey of discovery of unexpected details.
