Riverside Furniture Announces Strategic Leadership Realignment

Riverside Furniture, a leading wholesale distributor of case goods furniture, is proud to announce a strategic leadership realignment that reflects the company’s significant growth over the past several years and its commitment to building a dynamic foundation for the future.

The new executive appointments are designed to streamline operations, deepen customer partnerships, and position Riverside for long-term success in an evolving marketplace.

Riverside has entered a new era, driven by strategic initiatives in product development, creative talent, and category expansion, alongside major advancements in technology and systems to meet evolving customer needs. In parallel, Riverside has prioritized strategic team building and continues investing in its future—including a beautiful, modern showroom and upgraded work facilities, bringing the company closer to customers, designers, and industry events.

“Over the past five years, we’ve focused on building the strongest possible team with a long-term vision in mind. We created a world-class showroom and office environment to attract top talent, added a new distribution center to support growth, and assembled a leadership team ready to take Riverside into the future. Despite a challenging environment, we’ve experienced five consecutive years of growth—and we’re confident that momentum will continue,” says Fred Henjes, CEO.

With over 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, Harrison "H" Kelly brings deep expertise across product development, sales, and operations. He served as Vice President of Product Development at Pulaski Furniture (in his 20+ year tenure), and most recently held the role of Senior Vice President of Product Development – Case goods at Klaussner Furniture until 2021.

Now as President, H is focused on driving cross-functional alignment across product, sales, and operations. His leadership centers on strengthening product strategy, building meaningful customer relationships, and delivering consistent value through collaboration and innovation.

H Kelly comments, “With three decades in product, sales, and operations, I’m excited to help lead Riverside into its next phase. Our future is about clarity—connecting our teams more closely, listening to our customers, and bringing thoughtful, relevant product to market. I'm proud to be a part of what’s next for Riverside."

Elicia Oliver brings a diverse background in eCommerce, operations, analytics, and finance to her role as Chief Operating Officer. She has held key roles at HMI and Klaussner and worked extensively as a consultant in a Controller capacity, giving her a deep understanding of how departments connect and function within an organization.

As COO, Elicia is focused on building collaborative, efficient teams, developing top talent, and continuing Riverside’s tradition of putting the customer first—while investing in technology and training to help the organization adapt and thrive in a changing landscape.

“I’ve seen firsthand how connected every part of a business really is. My goal is to create an environment where departments work together seamlessly, where employees are empowered to grow, and where our commitment to the customer remains at the center of everything we do.” says Oliver.

Dana Howard brings over 20 years of experience in global wholesale distribution and brand licensing, spanning categories including apparel, accessories, footwear, home goods, jewelry, and lifestyle brands. She has held key operational and strategic roles at Li & Fung and Centric Brands, where she helped drive efficiency, scale, and growth across complex, multi-category businesses.

As CSO, Dana will lead long-term growth initiatives, organizational development, and strategic partnerships that enhance Riverside’s competitive edge.

Howard says, “I’ve always believed strategy should be a team sport. This new chapter gives us the chance to align every part of our business toward one clear vision—and I’m excited to help shape that future alongside this great team.”
