IKEA Cherry Hill Opens Plan & Order Point with Pick-Up

IKEA U.S. is excited to announce that the IKEA Cherry Hill Plan & order point with Pick-up will open on June 18, 2025. To celebrate the official opening, there will be a grand opening celebration at 11 a.m. with exclusive tours, food sampling, and giveaways for the first 100 visitors. IKEA Cherry Hill is located in the Ellisburg Shopping Center at 22 NJ-70 in Cherry Hill Township.
This new format store is the third IKEA location in the Philadelphia metro area and allows IKEA to better meet the needs of today’s consumer to become more accessible and affordable, bringing our home furnishing products and solutions closer to the many people. “We are thrilled to offer Philadelphia Metro Area residents more ways to shop and experience IKEA.” said Javier Quiñones, CEO & chief sustainability officer, IKEA U.S. “This new location highlights our commitment to bring IKEA closer to the many people and make it easier and more affordable to access our home furnishing products and solutions.”
The IKEA Cherry Hill Plan & order point with Pick-up is one of many new format stores that are part of the growth strategy for IKEA U.S.—increasing accessibility to the brand and ensuring there are more ways to meet customers where they are and how they like to shop. It is different from the traditional large-format IKEA stores as it gives customers the opportunity to meet with the IKEA store team to plan and order home furnishing solutions that require a bit more help – such as kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
While customers are unable to take products home that day, IKEA co-workers can arrange for delivery or schedule orders to be picked up from the convenient, onsite Pick-up location. With the addition of an IKEA Pick-up point, customers will be able to collect their purchases when and where it is convenient for them, supporting purchases made at the Plan & order point as well as online at IKEA.com/us. Online shoppers will have the option to pick-up qualifying orders by selecting the IKEA Cherry Hill as their preferred pick-up location at checkout.
