Bob's Discount Furniture Recognized at Inaugural Last Mile Retail Awards

Bob’s Discount Furniture, one of the nation’s fast-growing omnichannel furniture retailers, was recognized as ‘Social Impact Retailer of the Year’ at the inaugural Last Mile Retail Awards in Nashville on May 21. The awards aim to celebrate and recognize retail excellence in last mile home delivery, with the ‘Social Impact Retailer of the Year’ award honoring a company’s outstanding commitment to making a difference in the community.
“Bob’s is honored to be recognized at the very first Last Mile Retail Awards for our commitment to social impact,” shared Ivan Kucher, Vice President Delivery Operations at Bob’s Discount Furniture during his acceptance speech. “At Bob’s, we believe our responsibility goes beyond furniture – it’s about lifting up the communities we serve and ensuring that everyone has a home they love.”
This recognition is a testament to Bob’s dedication to social impact, including contributions to hunger relief, support for local food pantries, and a charitable foundation that donates more than $2.75 million each year to children, schools, and local charities. Furthermore, the company’s prioritization of sustainability has led to the implementation of responsible sourcing practices, running mattress recycling programs, and recycling over 11,000 tons of materials annually.
