Two regional furniture and mattress retailers say Symphony Sleep® is hitting all the right notes when it comes to its innovative adjustable bases and comprehensive marketing support. With a combined 48 stores, Metro Mattress and Old Brick are touting the solutions and service they receive from the adjustable base manufacturer led by industry veteran John Schulte.
New York-based Metro Mattress operates 40 stores across the state and three distribution centers in Central, Eastern and Western U.S. All stores offer the full lineup of Symphony Sleep bases to cover every price point and feature benefits. They also carry two accessories most in demand, the Elevation Kit that offers elevated or inclined sleep positions and the Hi-Low Lift Kit which addresses specific mobility needs or healthcare requirements.
“The quality is top-notch, and it’s evident that a lot of thought has gone into designing consumer-friendly solutions. Each product feels thoughtfully crafted, catering to the needs and preference of customers,” said Dino Cifelli, president and CEO of Metro Mattress.
Every Metro Mattress store is taking advantage of the impactful marketing materials for Symphony Sleep’s What’s Your Sleep Angle? campaign, which was developed to empower the RSA with relevant and easy-to-understand information to engage the customer and explain the benefits of investing in a Symphony Sleep base. Artfully designed materials include floor displays, banners, retainer bar remote pocket holder, and gravity effect presentation bottle.
“It’s refreshing to see a company prioritize customer engagement,” stated Cifelli. “Additionally, Symphony Sleep representatives are actively training in the field, which speaks volumes about the company's dedication to both their staff and their customers. This hands-on approach ensures that the team is well-equipped to assist and provide valuable insights into the products.”
Old Brick Furniture and Mattress Co., with eight stores in the Northeast, offers three Symphony Sleep bases which include the best-selling ES200 and higher end ES500 and ES600, plus the Elevation Kit. It will soon offer the Hi-Low Lift Kit.
The Top 100 retailer is stepping up its point-of-sale game with the higher end bases with Symphony Sleep’s newest marketing tool, a QR code that helps retailers sell the product.
Consumers can scan a QR code to watch a short video that demonstrates the product while they interact with the remote and base. The videos can serve as a critical tool in situations where the store might be understaffed on a particular day or is experiencing a busy period when there isn’t an RSA available.
“Symphony Sleep’s unique P.O.P. materials like the floor stickers with QR codes that access sales presentation videos for the bases we display have been great for customer engagement as well as an additional training tool for our RSAs, which complement the in-person training the Symphony team offers” said Brian Motyl, vice president of sales for Old Brick. “They have been a great partner and a great brand addition to our retail stores. They offer a very high-quality product with a program that allows us to build the ticket while addressing our customer’s needs.”
