“We study the business trends extensively to create the theme, and this year, no matter what your perspective, this is a time of great change,” says Karen McNeill Pond, CEO, Hall of Fame. “With its share of challenges also comes a period of innovation and creativity. The key is to use the momentum to ride the currents and to use them to your best advantage.”
Soar on the Winds of Change will introduce upcoming changes at the Hall of Fame. The organization of leaders is celebrating two years in our new home, after hosting nearly 170 events, awarding 11 Home Furnishings Fellows from High Point University to participants in the Leadership Institute, the lighting of the Wanek Family and Ashley Furniture Eternal Flame, the installation of more than 100 bricks in the Pathways of Honor, and preparation of a new education initiative for our museum.
We could not have done any of this without ongoing support from the industry and our Pacesetter sponsors: ANDMORE, Ashley Furniture Inds., Broyhill Family Foundation, Carpenter Company, Coconis Furniture and Mattress 1st, Crestview Collections, Gardner-White, Gat Creek, Glen Raven, High Point Market Authority, Hooker Furnishings, La-Z-Boy, Leggett & Platt, Loloi, Markor International Home Furnishings, ManWah, Prestige Arts, SURYA/Global Views/Mitchell Gold + Bob Mitchell, Raymour & Flannigan, Springs Creative, and Tempur Sealy.
The Hall of Fame Induction Celebration will be held Oct. 26, at the Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons. The selection process is underway and the 2025 inductees will be announced in early June.
