DeLandis Sleep Offers Solutions for Retailers with Foam Pouring Line

DeLandis sleep, a leading innovator in mattress manufacturing and sleep comfort technologies, offering both OEM and ODM solutions to top retailers, has launched its own foam pouring line here Further enhancing its production capabilities. This strategic investment strengthens the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, customizable sleep products while improving supply chain efficiency and cost management.

The expansion comes at a time when retailers are increasingly prioritizing domestic manufacturing partners to offset tariffs imposed on imported goods to ensure reliability and efficiency in their supply chains. By bringing foam production to its Houston facility, DeLandis is strengthening its ability to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions while mitigating the impact of shifting trade policies. The new foam line enhances DeLandis’ ability to support these needs, offering even greater control over quality, production timelines, and material consistency.

“DeLandis is a diamond in the rough—a hidden gem offering incredible value that not everyone has discovered yet,” said David Wachendorfer, senior vice president of DeLandis. “With our investment in domestic foam production, we’ve strengthened our ability to provide high-quality products while mitigating additional costs due to tariffs by reducing reliance on imported materials. This allows us to maintain competitive pricing and ensure a stable supply chain for our retail partners, even amid evolving trade policies. The new foam line reinforces the unique value DeLandis brings to the market.”

Beyond expanding its manufacturing capabilities, the company’s investment in U.S.-based foam production reflects a strategic commitment to providing retailers with greater flexibility, shorter lead times, and enhanced quality control. This initiative also positions the company to respond more dynamically to retailer demands. With the added agility and control this brings, the team is focused on building stronger, more responsive partnerships across its retail network.

“We’re very good at building brands for retailers—we are the brand behind the brand,” said Joe DiCello, regional vice president of sales. “Our in-house foam pouring capabilities provide high-quality, customizable products that help our retail partners stand out in a competitive market. By managing every aspect of production, from foam pouring to finished mattresses, we give retailers a competitive edge with private-label products. We’ve built our excellent reputation on helping retailers strengthen their brands and they trust us to deliver.”

The Houston facility spans over 400,000 square feet across four buildings and includes dedicated spaces for foam pouring and spring production, assembly and distribution, as well as raw material and finished goods storage. Operating with two shifts, the facility has a monthly production capacity of 100,000 units, reinforcing the company’s ability to scale manufacturing as needed. The foam is manufactured to meet CertiPUR-US® standards for content, emissions and durability.

DeLandis has a long history in the U.S. market. In the late 1990s, it partnered with the former Classic Brands to manufacture mattresses and in 2000, the two companies introduced their boxed beds to the U.S. market. In 2021, the company opened its first U.S. factory.
