DatesWeiser Debuts 3D Modular Configurator for JD Collection

DatesWeiser, a U.S. furniture manufacturer known for timeless, finely crafted custom-made products, debuts its first 3D modular configurator for its JD collection of conference tables and credenzas.

This engaging platform highlights the flexible design of the JD collection, ideal for creating custom conference and meeting spaces. Built on a kit of components, the 3D tool offers extensive customization options—from product dimensions and finishes to integrated power choices. The result is an intuitive experience that makes it easy for clients, dealers and designers to design their ideal office, seamlessly integrating multiple products into a single cohesive space.

“As technology reshapes the modern work environment, our clients’ needs for performance conferencing and collaboration spaces continue to grow. We are excited to bring DatesWeiser’s tailored and technology-enabled solutions to their fingertips, and this interactive tool delivers on this ambition,” said R.J Stelter, senior vice president and general manager of Geiger and DatesWeiser. “This innovation is a critical step forward in MillerKnoll’s 3D visualization journey. With the introduction of this platform, our clients have the tools to create unique designs for our premium wood brands through a common platform across both the Geiger and DatesWeiser brands.”

The configurator has rolled out on Geigerfurniture.com. The JD Table is preloaded with 7 table types which allow users to create up to 70 combinations of table shapes and sizes, along with 10 different power and connectivity options and 2 base sizes. Clients can choose from 12 distinct credenza options along with an array of customizable features.

Using the preloaded products as a foundation, customers can design a full conference room table arrangement through the configurator. This includes the ability to save and share renderings for use in proposals and projects, confirm product dimensions and configure options such as power, AV, waste disposal, and a refrigerator drawer for the conference table. Additionally, customers can retrieve their project ID numbers which provide access to projects later and then request a quote once they are ready.
