Bellini Modern Living Builds on Success of Massimo at HPMKT

Bellini Modern Living is building on the success of Massimo, its innovative, attractively priced small-space dining collection of expandable Made-in-Italy tables at the High Point Market this month with new designs, which are for the first time stocked and available for purchase from Bellini’s warehouse.

Launched as a special project and container-only program for volume retailers, Bellini

(IHFC-H-520) is responding to calls from dealers and designers of all sizes to expand the buzzy Massimo collection, conceived to attract a new generation of consumers with fun, easily demonstrable table designs ready-made for a digitally inclined generation of shoppers.

“Retailers are looking to make the doors of brick-and-mortar stores swing with shoppers that they may not otherwise be attracting—younger, design-savvy consumers who aspire to Made-in-Italy products, but who are also seeking mass market prices,” said Keon Azimi, marketing and merchandising director, Bellini Modern Living.

The Massimo collection fits the bill with five dining table designs and a selection of occasional tables featuring high-quality, Made-in-Italy laminate tops with finished edges, coupled with solid wood mechanisms and beechwood legs for added stability and a seamless look. The tables are available in five laminate finishes ranging from oak to concrete.

New this market to the collection is the innovative Cora, a trim console table that measures just 36-inches wide and 18 inches deep and expands to a dining table 10 feet in length. It can be opened incrementally with the addition of included leaves, hidden and stored out of the way in a trolley that rolls underneath the console when not in use.

Also set to be unveiled in High Point are two new, stackable, Made-in-Italy upholstered dining chair designs. The Sabrina and Romina are crafted from solid wood and upholstered in echo leather, a soft, practical material that makes them washable and durable, as well as comfortable. The chairs are also now stocked for retailers and designers in Bellini’s warehouse and offered in three different upholstery colors—light gray, dark gray and Anthracite, and a choice of three frame finishes—walnut, black and natural oak.

“Cora and other Massimo collection tables and our new stackable dining chairs are ideal for consumers who only occasionally require a larger table for entertaining purposes,” said Hossein Azimi, chief executive officer of Bellini Modern Living.

“With so many consumers delaying home buying, renting and/or downsizing in the current housing market, retailers and interior designers require more smart, small space solutions than ever before to satisfy their needs. We’re making it easy, both with the aggressively priced Massimo collection, as well as our growing collection of luxe, artfully designed Made in Italy ceramic-topped tables for which Bellini Modern has long been known.
