Currey & Company Announces Partnership with Elstead Lighting

Currey & Company is thrilled to announce a new partnership with UK-based Elstead Lighting Group. Elstead is a British company established in 1969 that specializes in the manufacture and distribution of decorative lighting. Currey & Company will provide distinctive lighting designs through a premium brand within the Elstead Lighting Group, Quintiesse, which was founded in 2022 to offer luxury lighting to the interior design, hospitality, and architectural industries. Showrooms are located in the UK, Poland and opening soon in Dubai.
This collaboration aims to expand Currey & Company’s international reach in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. The partnership will be debuting at the upcoming EuroLuce in Milan in Hall 4, Stand C33, from April 8 to 13, 2025. The lighting will be shown in exhibitions throughout the year in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Warsaw, and Dubai.
Elstead Lighting is headed by Managing Director, Jonathan Lucas, who is the son and nephew of the previous family owners. The company has a rich history and was originally known as The Elstead Forge founded in 1686 where it produced mainly iron gates and general ironworks situated in the tiny hamlet of Elstead, Surrey, England. Mr. Lucas shares about the company’s new partnership with Currey & Company; “When the opportunity arose to partner with both the team and brand that Currey & Company has built, we could not have been more enthusiastic. The new collection epitomizes a brand where every product has been thought through with care and with detail.”
President of Currey & Company, Brownlee Currey, says: “It is a rare day, when one meets a particular person with whom one has lived a parallel life, but in a different location. That’s exactly how I felt meeting Jonathan and Deborah and visiting their headquarters in Hampshire. I knew at that moment; we were in the right place to enter into business together.”
