Hooker Furnishings is strengthening its legacy as a leader in the home office category with its new Formation Modular Home Office Collection, alongside new home office pieces as part of broader collections at the April High Point Market. The additions offer dedicated office solutions as well as freestanding desks and storage pieces designed to integrate seamlessly into today’s multi-functional spaces.
“As remote and hybrid work continue to evolve, so does the need for thoughtfully designed home office furniture,” said Jon Witteveen, VP of Product Development at Hooker Furnishings. “With Formation, we wanted to create a fully modular, highly functional collection that adapts to a variety of workspaces—whether it's a dedicated office or part of a larger living area. The ability to customize layouts, combined with premium materials and storage solutions, makes this a standout offering in the market.”
Redefining workspace versatility, the Formation modular home office collection is a clean, upscale, and highly configurable solution designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s work-from-home lifestyle. Blending thoughtful functionality with a refined aesthetic, the 15-piece collection — including bookcases, desks, file storage, and work surfaces — offers a range of modular, scalable components that can be customized to suit any workspace, whether a dedicated home office, a multifunctional living space, or a compact workstation.
The collection features multiple size options, including 64- and 72-inch desktops, as well as a 90-inch work surface that pairs with storage cases for a kneehole credenza solution. With fully finished backs, pieces can also be arranged in freestanding or open-concept layouts, adding to the versatility. Thoughtful storage solutions—including partitioned drawers, pencil trays, locking file cabinets, and pullout printer compartments—keep workspaces organized.
Formation is available in two finishes—a lighter Sandstone, and Briar, a rich, dark tone. Each piece is accented with classic bar-pull hardware in a subtle champagne metallic finish.
Alongside Formation, the company is also expanding its home office selections within other key collections being introduced this Market:

The Driftwood collection is available in three signature finishes: Buckboard – A soft, sun-faded oak tone inspired by timeworn wood; Worn Saddle – A deep, burnished finish reminiscent of heirloom leather; and Burnt Timber – A dramatic, moody finish enriched by natural aging.
- Eleana – Characterized by a sophisticated aesthetic, where sculptural silhouettes meet richly textured materials, home office pieces in the new Eleana whole home collection include a writing desk, and several multifunctional pieces that offer flexible storage and display solutions. Featuring split-heart and quartered walnut veneers, Eleana’s mix of open shelving, closed storage, and warm wood tones allow for seamless integration into both dedicated offices and shared living areas.
